I get a refill prescription at this pharmacy and only recently have I noticed that this pharmacist has been giving certain customers free prescription drugs. I do not know the details of the drugs that she is giving them but the customers (who are the same culture as her, and speak Gujurati), don’t come with a doctor’s prescription and they instantly come to the pharmacist’s counter and she gives them the drugs. The customers do not pay cash, they just get the prescription drugs into their hands. I don’t think that this is ethical and the pharmacist in question should be brought to the discipline committee of the College of Pharmacists of Ontario

    Dr. Nathwani is completely lacking in empathy and bedside manner. If you advocate for yourself she pushed back making you feel like she knows better than your knowledge of your own body. She would rather feel she is right than pursue other causes/solutions. She is cold and uncaring and completely in the wrong career.

    I don’t normally write reviews but had to take the time to thank Dr. Nathwani. I have never met such a diligent and well intentioned, intelligent doc . She cares so much but also takes the time to teach and educate patients on what’s going on which I find so many doctors forget to do ! She is also so well versed in women’s health which is amazing. I feel blessed to have her in my life . I’m not sure if she is accepting new patients still but I would recommend her wholeheartedly to any of my friends and family .

She is poorly-educated, not helpful, not knowledgeable, she had bad intentions, cheats the OHIP system, and more interested billing than for the care of her patients. Her attitude is disgusting and uncaring. She verbally slams patients in the face, she has a disregard for patient safety and is a sign of malpractice. She should not be licensed to be practicing as a doctor, and feel very astonished that she is actually carrying a license. CPSO – please remove her license and the general public does not believe she is qualified to be practicing as a doctor. She needs to be disciplined and she needs some continuing education required to further improve her knowledge before she can even practice. Stay clear!

Two years later, I figured out the simple underlying cause of my sciatic, and what became whole body muscular pain, it was the IUD. She was worse than useless, she showed contempt towards someone who was truly down, seeking help.

    I will be making all the formal complaints that I can. That kind of attitude could really be a killer for someone in despair.

    Meera Nathwani was my G.P. for 2 years. Her bedside manner is so completely lacking that it was very difficult to engage in conversation with her. She would dispute or thwart my opinion ( and I have lived in this body for many decades) and benign medical requests, for no reason other than her ‘opinion’, of which there could be none without further analysis. She always seemed so brusque and in a hurry, almost as if she were ‘doing time’ at this practise to move on to where she preferred to be. Dealing with such negativity made be highly reluctant to engage with her.

    Dr. Nathwani is rigid and uncaring. She is more interested in preserving provincial health care funds for other patients than her own patients’ health needs. She is basically as concerned about her own patients as a robot. At least she follows the published stats, so if you ask her for a diagnostic test and 50.6% of patients aren’t at risk, she won’t compromise provincial funds on you. If that’s what a patient is looking for in a doctor then they would be happy with Dr. Nathwani.
