Dr. Malleck is a excellent surgeon. I suffered for years with pain in my ankle.
I broke it about 40 years ago in three places.
Dr Malleck did an ankle fusion on Jan 31/24.
He had to do a lot more work on my ankle than anticipated at the time of surgery.
I am now putting full weight bearing on my ankle with little pain.
He has an excellent bed side matter and just a very nice person.
Should you need ankle fusion Dr Malleck is your surgeon.

During the COVID time frame, I felt something pop in my left heel area. Eventually I got a referral to a local surgeon however it was going to take forever to see him. That surgeon’s receptionist told me about a new Ortho Surgeon setting up in Whitby. Dr. Malleck saw me right away. He was reluctant to operate on my heel (Haglund deformity), but he eventually agreed to my pleading as I was in so much discomfort and walked with a limp for over two years. He told me that I would not be 100% after the surgery, but I would be better. It took about a year to heal, but I also started walking a lot once the weather got warm. For five months I was walking 5km every day starting about six months after the surgery. Fortunately, Dr. Malleck was wrong, because I do feel 100% better. No more pain, no more limp. I just wish he had stayed in Whitby. We lost a great ortho surgeon. Great guy to talk to as well.

Dr Malleck has care for me through bilateral MTP fusion surgery, and has been an excellent physician. He is kind, supportive and remembers you , from visit to visit. He allows the patient to be a partner in care and as an RN, I really appreciated him listening to feedback and even more delighted when suggestions were incorporated for the second surgery. I would recommend him highly

Bunion surgery. I got in right away. Surgery was a breeze.2 week follow up was informative. I am set to go back again in 2 more weeks. He is Patient, kind and knowledgeable.

I had 2 previous foot surgeries by another doctor and needed a 3rd for hardware failure and bone graft. Dr Malleck is without a doubt one of the best orthopedic surgeons. I didn’t feel rushed as he patiently answered all my questions and was very kind and friendly. Bowmanville hospital was amazing. Dr Malleck did an amazing job on my surgery and is very knowledgeable. I felt very confident in his abilities. For follow ups, the wait time is minimal. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Malleck is the best surgeon ever and Bowmanville hospital is the best. Love everyone they are kind and helpful. I had a implant put in my toe from another surgeon that was awful and in pain for 2 years. Do not recommend an implant. So he referred me to Dr Malleck because he could not do his job. Dr Malleck helped me go through the process to help me relieve the pain for 3 months. Did not work, so we decided to remove the implant and I am pain free has soon has it was taken out the day of the surgery. He is a very busy man so be patient at is office. He is kind and gentle. I am recommend him for any surgery you need done please see him.

Amazing Dr, ! explained whole surgery on foot , recovery time etc .

2 weeks after did follow up, again at 4 weeks talks with client .

Dr Malleck wants best for all patients, shows respect .
I would highly recommend him for anyone s upcoming surgery.
