She is a nice doctor and l will give her that but, she did not do anymore investigative research and relied on my blood work and X-rays from my GP.
She just diagnosed me with Fibromylagia and OA and prescribed Cymbalta as my mental health became a priority. Of course l was going insane due to the pain l was in. I asked my GP to send another referral to Bagovich so that she could see me again as l was getting worse and l got a PHONECALL appt for Sept 2021. I took that as a sign as she couldn’t care less so l went on the hunt for another Rheumatologist and l found one.
My new rheumatologist ordered new tests and u/s and saw me in person and physically saw what was happening to my body. I was diagnosed with Seronegative RA, PsA and Psoriasis and put me on Methotextrate. Yes it is rare and most dr’s don’t give multiple diagnosis but when the truth is not Fibromyalgia or OA but more severe it is warranted.
Bagovich’s diagnosis was so wrong its scary. I hope in the future she is more accepting of new patients and to do a bit more investigative tests than just relying on some tests from a GP. I find she is the type of doctor that will only deal with Seropositive patients than deal with a complex situation like mine. I was left to suffer for another year and now my mobility of my right shoulder has seized and l do hope Methotextrate helps straighten it out and get the mobility back into it.
