Dr. Mankad missed diagnosed my son with autism. She showed up late to the screening test without apology. She told me the test would take 2 hours and she was done in under 55 minutes. She said my son had a meltown when it was a tantrum. The next day session, her evaluative the letter was pre filled and she told what to expect. I ignored the letter and began to read to him. He is now is in Grade 3 at the top of his class. He reads at a Grade 6 level. He loves music and is normal is all aspects. He was a late talker and that all. Some specialists get tunnel vision and she almost set my son down the wrong path.
She is NO expert and I would strongly get a second opinion.
