This ding dong of a “doctor” didn’t show up for his shift – I only found out after waiting over an hour in the virtual waiting room for an appointment I had scheduled over a week ago.

I used to have a family doctor I respected and have had nothing but difficulty since I had to resort to Appletree. I have a nurse practitioner who is kind to me but whom I unfortunately have to pay to see, so I booked a video appointment to ask about pre-planning for having kids in my 30s. Not only did this doctor sigh and groan throughout the appointment, he also insulted the NP who works here in Ottawa and said “they’re completely useless and don’t know what they’re talking about in his opinion. “ I stated I wasn’t yet trying to have kids and just wanted to know IF there was anything I could test for, like immunity or AMH etc and he kept interrupting me to say he’d order prenatal vitamins. We aren’t trying to conceive yet- he didn’t get it. The overall feeling I got was that he didn’t want to be talking to me, that I was dumb, “why are you talking to me? Talk to your NP for this” – from the guy who says they no nothing- and when I said I shouldn’t have to pay every time I have a question… more groaning and interrupting. I haven’t come out of an appointment feeling so upset in so long. I will never see this “doctor” again. Worst, ever.

Dr. Vaneet Rai is a jackal in sheep’s clothing. He doesn’t even pretend to care for patients. His fragile ego is more important to him than the patient. He is one of a desperate group of incels, preying on innocents who are misled into visiting his office hoping for healthcare.
If you have even the slightest twinge of unease about him, end the appointment. Don’t go back.
Don’t trust the RateMDs website. The positive ratings are being posted by simple-minded people or are fakes to boost the doctor’s popularity.
