Beware! Transphobic! Even if this doctor takes on trans patients, she is transphobic and will continually make fun of anything to do with being trans.
Not a fan. I’m trans and have been on testosterone for 13 years. She has seen my face online but everytime she comments on my voice and asks if I have facial hair. “So you have a beard”? Well duh! I do! I’ve told her yes multiple times.
She said to me “oh so you’re bright” when I told her where I went to university. Very sarcastically. Trans people can be smart too!
She asked me to do blood work but i didn’t get the paper work until 2 weeks later via email. She randomly calls me without booking an appointment or the appointment is booked without my consent. I work and still go to school so I’m busy. She’s got a reputation. I started to see another doctor and they asked me I had seen her and then didn’t say much afterwards and went completely silent.

Go to hell Dr Haroon. Just because YOU have doctorate doesn’t make YOU intelligent. Educate yourself on how to treat me people better.

Would rate punctuality 0 stars if I could. As another review said AVOID IF YOU ARE TRANSGENDER! I have been a patient of hers for 5 years and she withholds my medication, I’ve been told “you’ll get it when you get it” by her APPALLINGLY rude receptionist after the doctor stood me up for our appointment, and had the gall to say I should be available when the doctor has time, not when our appointment was scheduled.

She has been up to 24 hours late to virtual phone appointments, called the next day while I was at work, and was declared a “no show” by the receptionist, when I was waiting up to 4 hours for her to call.

She has misgendered and deadnamed me, her bedside manner is incredibly rude and demeaning.

If you are transgender, please try to find any other doctor in the area, as she will make the ease of your transition incredibly difficult. This is not a transgender-friendly doctor. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Haroon is horrible and should be avoided at all costs if you are transgender. She has effectively DETRANSITIONED me against my will. When concerns were expressed she never explained.

She was consistently late, sometimes up to 45 minutes.

I was having laser hair removal done. Now all that time and effort was wasted thanks to her allowing my hormones to go back to that of a cis male

Dr. Nisha Nigil Haroon is an amazing specialist.. She is very friendly and takes her time to discuss tests and treatment… Her assistant is also so friendly and helpful…Dr Haroon goes up and above and continues to follow up with necessary tests well after diagnosis and treatment..Thank you Dr Haroon
