Saw Dr Mittal at good hope clinic this year. Strongly agree with most of the reviews above. Good Hope clinic is very poorly run and sends people away who are struggling with pain. Anyone considering going there should just go to the states instead. Waste of time. His report of my assessment completely missed a part of the diagnostic criteria. I am an Occupational Therapist, who assesses and treats people all the time, and find this negligent. If you have eds or hypermobility, save yourself the time and get prolotherapy instead of seeing this guy. If you are assigned this Doctor, find someone else. Unfortunately for him his reputation will suffer.

My lungs almost closed out within a day of DRASTIC Pain Medication Change/REDUCTIONS which also affected my Disease Medications – so my body was missing close to 90% of the medicine that I would take -barely a meal a day, DISABLED, barely hand a hand for a couple YEARS, Was put in a Hypertensive CRISIS, had to give hand Signals to my mother, could barely speak, breathe, he lied in reports/didn’t care about my car accidents, falls, 1st medical issue that disabled me many years before, failed cortisone procedure/poisoned and prevented further care – I clung to life for a couple years because of this with HIGH DISEASE ACTIVITY which greatly affected my BRAIN, HEART, LUNGS, Kidneys, and Liver. And ALL Muscles.

He CLEARLY does not care about human life or understands the calculations that are needed to equal an adequate dose. I am ONLY Alive Bc of what I did and STILL TREMENDOUSLY Suffering because of his lack of awareness to help his patients. This information should be INCLUDED in the Medical Reports to show the TRUTH!! There was ample time for him to correct his mistakes but Drs leave Patients in a DEADLY Crisis Wasting Hundreds of Medical staff – EMS calls- (heart over 200, lowest oxygen 69), 1st Responders/Firefighters/Drs/Nurses/multiple hospitalizations adding an overwhelming amount of paperwork for his colleagues. Years of TORTURE could’ve been prevented if he had listened!! I’m sharing my story online with my supporters so the public learns the truth about my unnecessary SUFFERING and near DEATH Experience!!

These unnecessary REDUCTIONS Must Stop because others are dying as a result!!

I found Dr. Mittal to be most helpful. He and his resident were very thorough in their assessment and were able to diagnose and give me a treatment plan. I found Dr Mittal a very clear communicator who conveyed his message to the point, and in a kind manner. I hope to be able to bring other issues that are not improving with physio and excercise to him for assessment and guidance.

I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with Dr. Nimish Mittal during my visit with mother. Unfortunately, my encounter with Dr. Nimish Mittal was marked by a disconcerting level of unprofessionalism and unkind behavior.

Throughout the appointment, I perceived a consistently dismissive and rude attitude from Dr. Mittal. This not only made me feel uncomfortable but also raised questions about the quality of care I was receiving. I believe that a compassionate and respectful demeanor is crucial in the medical profession, and it is disheartening to report such a departure from these standards.

I had expected a certain level of professionalism from a medical professional, and the behavior I witnessed during my visit fell far below those expectations. It is my sincere hope that steps will be taken to address this matter promptly to ensure that other patients do not have to endure a similar experience.

I kindly request that an investigation be conducted into this matter, and appropriate measures be taken to address the unprofessional conduct displayed by Dr. [Doctor’s Name]. Patients should feel confident in the competence and compassion of their healthcare providers, and regrettably, my recent encounter has left me questioning both.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I trust that the necessary actions will be taken to uphold the standards of professionalism and kindness within your medical facility.

Careless, heartless, left me for DEAD! He should be Fired for all his Negligence, lying in Reports, and not Verifying Crucial Information that could have Saved my Life.

Extremely poor communication skills. Never explained what he intended to do for me. Still didn’t know what his plan was right down to the minute before surgery!!
He put down the knowledge and skills of my family Dr. Told me I had never had an Epidural in my life. Despite having two children that way! He yelled at me to be quiet and said I would have a chance to ask questions later, which he never gave later. He was 1 full hour late on our first meeting. He wrote such a nasty letter in the UHN portal on me that no other Dr will see me now. He has literally condemned me to a life of pain, since no other will now see me. How he could consciously do that and be a “ Doctor” is unfathomable! Because he didn’t like me , he immaturely and irresponsibly has made my cure for pain never to happen. Should he be practicing on humans, I ask?

Saw Dr. Mittal at the Good Hop Clinic. He had very poor communication skills. Did not explain what he was doing or why. Fumbled with his measuring tools (which lacked the accuracy to make small angle deviation measurements). Didn’t even ask all of the questions related to a hEDS diagnosis based on the 2017 EDS diagnostic criteria.
Was openly critical of previous doctor’s work. I had the impression that he was looking to discredit their results regardless of what he saw.
